Orders, Delivery & Returns

All sewing machine deliveries require someone to be present to accept the order. Our delivery partner uses a secure PIN code system for your protection - you will receive a unique PIN by email or text to complete the delivery.

To ensure a successful delivery:

  • Add a mobile number at checkout so you receive delivery notifications.
  • Track your parcel in real time on the day of delivery.
  • Check your contact details are correct so you receive your PIN.
  • Be at the delivery address to accept the delivery.

If no one is available when the courier arrives the delivery will be rearranged. If you know you won't be home on the scheduled day, use the tracking link from DPD to choose an alternative slot.

Yes, weekend delivery is available for sewing machines. Saturday and Sunday delivery is free for machines over £300.

  • Saturday delivery: place your order by 3pm on Friday.
  • Sunday delivery: place your order by 3pm on Friday.

Orders placed after 3pm Friday will be scheduled for the following weekend or the next available weekday.

Yes. Some larger sewing machines (such as the Brother VR, PR1X, PR680W, PR1055 and PR1060W) are delivered on pallets. These deliveries require a pre-arranged weekday delivery slot. We will contact you after you place your order to arrange a convenient time. Standard machines are sent via courier and don't require pre-arrangement.
Yes. Once your order is despatched you'll receive tracking details by text and/or email. You can then track your order using your details.
No. You can shop with us in three ways: through our website, at our Redruth showroom, or by calling 01209 216942. Our friendly team is available to help you choose the right product however you prefer to shop.
Yes, we ship to selected destinations including Canada, Australia and several European countries. Sewing machines are only available to UK-based customers and can be dispatched to UK addresses only. Additional taxes or duties may apply depending on your location. See our delivery page for the latest list.
Deliveries to some remote areas may take longer and could incur additional charges. This includes Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. If additional delivery costs apply, we will contact you before despatch.
Brand new sewing machines come with a full manufacturer's warranty, which varies by brand. For more information visit our sewing machine warranty page. Most other items are covered by our standard returns policy.
If your order hasn't been fulfilled yet you can request a cancellation through our Help Centre. If it's already on its way, you can still return it within 14 days of receiving it. Everything you need to know is in our returns policy.
Account & Payments
Click the profile icon at the top of the site to log in or register. From your account dashboard you can view orders, submit return requests and update your personal details.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Klarna and Apple Pay. All available payment options are shown at checkout.
Enter your code in the "Discount code" box in your cart or at checkout and click Apply. If valid, the discount will be shown before you complete payment.

Sewing Machines
Follow your machine's manual for threading, bobbin winding and tension settings. Most machines include quick-start guides or QR codes with step-by-step tutorials.
Computerised machines should only be serviced by a professional engineer - do not oil them at home. Mechanical machines can be oiled following your manual's instructions. Regular servicing keeps any machine running smoothly. Visit our sewing machine servicing page for more details.
Yes. We offer part-exchange sewing machines and ex-demonstration models at reduced prices. Every machine is inspected and serviced by our engineers before sale. Browse our ex-display collection or explore part-exchange details.
Yes. Regular servicing helps keep your machine running smoothly and can extend its lifespan. We service most brands and pricing depends on the type of machine. You can find full details and booking information on our sewing machine servicing page.
Fabric
Regular-priced fabrics can be ordered from 0.25m or a single Fat Quarter. Sale or offer fabrics have a 0.5m minimum. Every order is cut to length so you can buy exactly what you need.
Yes, wherever possible we cut fabric as a single continuous length. If we ever need to split your order, we'll contact you before despatch.
We photograph our fabrics carefully, but screen settings and lighting can affect how colours appear. If you're colour-matching, get in touch and we'll offer guidance.
